Description
Optical fibers are housed in a loose tube that is made of high-modulus plastic and filled with water blocking yarns. A layer of non-metallic strength member is stranding around the tube, and the tube is armored with the plastic coated steel tape. Then a layer of PE outer sheath is extruded.
